Elizabeth Gonzalez
Founder + Owner
Elizabeth is a planner by nature. She was creating itineraries for friends and organizing everything, long before After Yes was even a dream. Her genuine passion for organization and planning, as well as a constant calm and patient demeanor, are just some of the reasons her clients and vendor partners adore her.
Elizabeth grew up in Katy, Texas and earned her Bachelor's in Marketing and Management from Baylor University. She launched the company in 2009 after leaving a career in advertising.
When Elizabeth isn’t planning a wedding, she’s at home with her husband, Fernando and two children, Michael and Madeline.
Personal must-haves include regular mani-pedis, chips and queso, iced coffee and wine.
Jen Rios
Lead Wedding Planner
Jennifer thrives on design details + timelines, literally the perfect mix of creativity and logistics. She was making to-do lists and buying a planner before it was considered "cool". Design and details have been in her blood from an early age and she can easily walk into a space and envision it just as you describe.
Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Texas Christian University and had a career in the field for 4 years before falling in love with the wedding industry while planning her own in 2011. For 10 years she managed and directed her own planning and design company but decided to take a step back after having her second child in 2021. Coordinating for After Yes allows her to still do what she loves all while having the perfect work/life balance.
When Jen isn’t coordinating, she’s at home with her husband, Michael, and two boys, Holden and Archer.
Personal must-haves include hotel stays (even a staycation will do), pedicures, lavender lattes, wine dates with friends, snuggles with her little ones, and a good book!
